Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do with the Open Context service ("Service"), operated by FOUND Studios, LLC. By using the Service, you agree to this policy. Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.

Permitted Use

You may use the Service to:

  • Create and store personal context profiles, library items, and prompts for use with AI tools
  • Share context with AI tools you have connected via MCP or API
  • Collaborate with others via Spaces you own or have been invited to join
  • Build applications that use the Open Context API on behalf of users who have authorized access

Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Service to:

  • Store, share, or distribute illegal content, including content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Store or transmit malware, exploits, or malicious code
  • Store private or sensitive information belonging to other individuals without their consent
  • Harass, threaten, or harm others
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Circumvent account quotas, rate limits, or access controls
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically access the Service in ways that exceed normal usage
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation

Public Content

Profiles and shared Space content are accessible to anyone with the URL. You are solely responsible for content you make public. Do not include personal data, credentials, API keys, or sensitive information in profiles or shared Spaces.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion. We will attempt to notify affected users before taking action where practical, except in cases involving illegal content or imminent harm.
